96 Charles Street!

Today we are very excited to announce the opening of our doors at our 3rd location, 96 Charles Street in Boston's historic Beacon Hill. It's a very soft opening - no signs yet, lights barely on - but still! Rebekah will there all day with our manager Nellie & they'd love to show you around. Sardinian Sunrise

Hard to imagine a more romantic location (or a more perfect time of day) for an unforgettable proposal. In the coastal mountains of Costa Paradiso in Sardinia this beautiful couple became engaged. We were lucky enough to be part of the process in designing a custom ring for them & they were generous enough to share with all of us some magical pictures from a love filled trip. Congratulations to them both!

 

Ring Book

At long last our new ring book is unveiled! This labor of love beautifully showcases the range of our ring offerings - from wedding bands & engagement rings to specialty custom work. To make it even easier to peruse, all you have to do is click on the 'ring book' button on our site & you will instantly have a high quality PDF on your desktop. Additionally, we have print copies in both stores so if you come in you can view the book alongside the current stock in the cases. Perfect!

Beautiful People

One of the best things about making handmade jewelry is all of the wonderful people we get to meet & work with along the way. Sometimes, these same wonderful people send us pictures of them wearing their beautiful new creations. One such couple is shown below, they generously sent us these pictures from their wedding & offered that we could share them on the blog. Thank You!

New Wedding Band

While going thru the images we'd set aside for our Engagement Ring posts (closing with Day 7 tomorrow) we couldn't help but be wowed by these pics of a recent addition to our wedding band offerings. These are so lovingly paired together! The thinner women's 'wheat band' has become a staple of our line but the wider ring (more masculine though looks great on a woman's finger as well) is a newer design that dovetails beautifully with the original. Shown here in 14k Yellow Gold.

Engagement Rings, Day 3

Today we have a beautiful 18k White Gold early Deco Ring showcasing some incredible filigree work & a stunning 3/4 carat center diamond. The great thing about this is that it's quite substantial yet retains a delicacy & lightness due to the filigree blossom and thinness of the band towards the bottom. It is also notched as they used to do on some rings of this period so that when you wear it with a wedding band it will fit together perfectly. Gorgeous, and you won't see one of these on every finger.

A large part of our business is making custom engagement rings and wedding bands and over the years we have had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful couples.  This week we wanted to give you a sampling of some men's bands that we've made recently.  Featured are our 14K white gold hammered flat band and a wide mixed metal band made of 14K white and yellow gold.
