Rebekah's Sapphires

Rebekah came into the studio last week wearing this necklace that her husband gave her for an anniversary gift many years ago. It sparked a conversation about the splendor of Sapphires - both of these pieces below being great examples of the natural, saturated palette found in precious stones. The necklace is woven with 18k loops connecting earthy oranges, greens & yellows. These are high quality gems that hold the light while having a stunning transparency. The bracelet (another gift) has 14k beads offsetting the deep blue hues exaggerated by the fade from dark to light. These are (technically) lower quality sapphires as they're opaque, but the richness they offer alongside the gold are nothing short of stunning.

Can't make it to the store? Our Earring Promotion applies online with any Gift Certificate purchase. Just put in promo code VDAY when checking out, valid the 12th - 14th.
Let us help you find the perfect gift for that special someone!
This year give her a gift with meaning. In the Victorian era, symbolism was of particular importance in jewelry. Our store is filled with antiques and Victorian inspired designs with motifs such as the knot, the belt buckle, birds and snakes! We've got it all, check out some of the great options below & figure out which would best suit your beloved.
The knot is significant to many cultures, including the Victorians who saw it as a symbol of endless love. Our handmade knot pieces are showcased in gorgeous earrings, long necklaces or succinct bracelets.
In Victorian times, coral jewlery was thought to promote good health and longevity. These earrings from the late 1800's are natural coral in 14k yellow gold. They add a bit of flare to the evryday or can easily be dressed up for a night out. Timeless!
Prince Albert presented Queen Victoria with a snake ring upon announcement of their engagement. We love our snake ring for its intricate detailing and sentimental meaning of "separate but together". Available in the metal of your choice with the option of setting diamonds in the eyes!
This beautiful buckle ring in 14k yellow gold hails from the Victorian era. It has intricate hand engraving going around the ring which makes it truly unique. The buckle has long been valued for its associated sentimental meaning, the Victorians used it as a symbol of protection.
The swallow motif was a Victorian symbol for coming home, flying birds representing the soul. The kissing swallows necklace pairs perfectly with our swallow charm earrings, always a popular choice for the holiday.
This really sweet antique necklace boasts a 9k yellow gold heart and antique key charm. The heart is from the Edwardian era, a symbol of love and passion, and the key represents guardianship. Give the ultimate gift, the keys to your heart.
Amethyst: February Birthstone
Amethyst is a variety of quartz in a rich purple hue. Highly prized by ancient cultures, it is a stone that is believed to bring balance, patience and peace. We have an incredible 14k yellow gold Rose Amethyst ring from the Victorian era with intricate filigree work. Not to mention countless pieces from ourCome see it in person in our Northampton location!

Some Things..

Make it all worthwhile - this being one of them! A card from a girl whose mom is a good customer & was buying some jewelry when a little gift was snuck into her bag. The snow & cold has been getting to us all so we were most grateful to get this little ray of sunshine in the mail.
